What Is Sin???

·        So then, those who do not do the good they know they should do are guilty of sin. [James 14:17]

·        Any scheme a fool thinks up is sinful. People hate a person who has nothing but scorn for others. [Proverb 24:9]

·        All wrong doing is sin, but there is sin which does not lead to death. We know that none of God’s children keep on sinning, for the son of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them.[1^st John 5:17-18]

breaking God’s law, because sin is a breaking of God’s law. [1^st John 3:4]

Back then in Igbo catechism, it was asked “Gini bu njoo?” literally meaning “what is sin?”

And I kinda like the answer given. It says “Njoo bu e cho chukwu okwu” literally meaning “Sin is looking for God’s trouble.” #Smilez#
